Connect Claude Desktop

One click in Premation, one click in Claude. Then ask for a logo reveal and watch it built in your project.

    Open Connections in Premation

    On Premation's home screen, choose Connections in the sidebar. Inside the editor the same cards are under Settings ▸ AI Engine.

    Click Connect Claude

    On the Claude for Premation card, step 1 is Install Premation in Claude. Click Connect Claude: Claude Desktop opens its install screen with Premation's name and logo.

    Click Install in Claude Desktop

    Back in Premation, step 1 ticks by itself. If you closed Claude's screen by mistake, Open the installer again brings it back.

    Start a new chat in Claude

    Premation appears among Claude's connectors. Step 2 ticks the moment Claude connects, and the pill in Premation's title bar turns green.

    Ask for something

    Start with "In Premation" so Claude knows where to work. No project open? Claude creates one. The first time it uses a Premation tool, Claude asks your permission.

    Or pick a ready-made workflow

    Claude Desktop's + menu lists Premation's workflows: Logo reveal, Kinetic typography, Product promo, Vertical social clip and Polish my animation. Each asks for the few details it needs.

How you know it worked

Test connection on the Claude card runs a check and lists each step it passed. Disconnect sits beside it.

If something is wrong

The assistant says Premation is not open
Open Premation and a project, then ask again. The assistant works through the running app.
The assistant says to sign in
Sign in to Premation, then ask again.
Claude does not list Premation
Quit Claude Desktop completely (not just the window) and open it again.
The card says Needs repair
Click Repair, then restart Claude Desktop. It happens when Premation moved, usually after an update.
Claude says Claude is not set up in Premation
Click Connect Claude on the card again.
The card says Claude's config is not valid
Premation will not touch a file it cannot read. Fix the file, or add Premation by hand with the snippet under Advanced.

Turning it off

Click Disconnect and Premation stops accepting Claude. To remove Premation from Claude too: Claude Desktop ▸ Settings ▸ Extensions ▸ Premation ▸ Uninstall.
