How does the free trial work?

Start it from Settings → Billing in the app. You get all of Premation Cloud for 7 days, and the first payment is taken only when the trial ends. Cancel before then and you pay nothing; your projects stay either way.

Is the editor really free?

Yes. Every tool, every effect and every export format is in the free app, with no watermark and no trial clock. The source is AGPL-3.0; you can build it yourself and run it with no account at all.

What does Premation Cloud pay for?

The premium Library — templates, Lottie animations, transitions and sound effects — Premation's own plugins, and hosting: unlimited cloud projects instead of 5, and 90 days of version history instead of 7. Never the editor, and never the assistant: it runs on your own AI provider key, and connecting Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or Antigravity is free on every plan.

Can I see the Library before I pay?

Yes. Every card and preview is public, on the Library page and in the app's Library panel. The free items work on any plan; a Cloud item asks for Premation Cloud when you add it to a project.

What happens past 5 cloud projects on the free plan?

The extra projects turn read-only: you can open them and export them, but not save changes to them in the cloud. Nothing is ever deleted. Save As writes any of them to a local file you can keep editing for free.

If I cancel, what happens to my projects?

You keep Premation Cloud until the end of the period you paid for. After that your account is on the free plan again; projects past the free allowance turn read-only, and every one of them still opens and exports.

Are local projects limited?

No. Projects saved on your own disk are unlimited in every plan.
