Glossary
Shutter angle
How long the shutter stays open during each frame, written as an angle. 180 degrees is half the frame's duration and is the film standard; a larger angle gives more motion blur.
In Premation
A composition's motion blur has a shutter angle and a shutter phase. The phase moves the open interval earlier or later relative to the frame.
