Timecode

A way of naming every frame as hours, minutes, seconds and frames, so that two people or two machines can refer to the same frame.

In Premation

The timeline ruler is labelled in timecode and honours the composition's start frame. The Timecode effect in the Generate folder burns it into the picture.
