Motion tracking

Following a feature in footage from frame to frame and writing its position as keyframes, so graphics can be attached to something that moves.

In Premation

The Tracker panel: click the thing you want followed and it is tracked both directions from the playhead, with rotation and scale from a companion point. Planar and corner-pin tracking and a 3D Camera Tracker sit in the same panel; they are newer than After Effects' and less proven on hard footage.
