Click the thing you want followed and get keyframes — then pin any graphic to real footage by parenting it to the tracked null.

Step Checklist
Step 1 of 3: Pick a Target in the Viewport
Select a video layer and open Track Motion in the inspector. Press 'Pick target in viewport', then click the detail you want followed — a logo corner, an eye, a headlight. The tracker snaps to the nearest trackable feature and measures its own settings from the footage.
Pick something distinctive. If the panel says 'Ambiguous feature', the point looks like its neighbours — a brick in a wall tracks worse than the corner of a sign.
